Recommendation

We are focusing our workshop to arm the teachers' with practical skills on guided inquiry. This will help them to deliver their content accurately

Objective

To develop a skilled teacher who has the knowledge of guided inquiry and has the ability to apply it consistently without the influence of other factors

After analysing the needs of the Centre, we have concluded that we will focus on the lack of skilled teachers which stems from two factors - misalignment of teacher's beliefs & lack of knowledge in the school's approach.

We had intended to arrange a workshop for the teachers, which would be a form of professional development (PD).

However, we took the following factors into consideration:

  • Whether the teachers would have time to attend the workshop

  • Sustainability of the workshop

  • Ensuring that our workshop would stand out from other PDs workshops

Thus, we realised that having a physical workshop plan might not be feasible.

Therefore, the workshop had been modified to ensure accessibility and sustainability through technology
